About the Editor

Thomas A. Clobes, Ph.D. is an Assistant Professor of Health Sciences at California State University Channel Islands after spending over 20 years in the healthcare field. He serves as the Chief Resource Office (CRO) for California Alliance for Open Education, an organization striving to equip higher education campus leaders, administrators, and faculty with the training, guidance, and resources needed to reduce course material costs and increase student success through cross collaboration efforts across California. Dr. Clobes has worked to reduce textbook costs for his students and students throughout California.
